This is the tv and cinema ad pushing the home delivery service. It is also all about that blue paper box.
It was shot by German feature director Detlev Buck.
The real fun part of the whole campaign was the promotional element. We put these blue boxes everywhere - in all major German cities. The entire campaign ended up increasing orders and winning a number of direct awards.
The illustrator of this campaign actually made the images by hand. And the headlines used to make the national icons are all taken from BILD - from articles about the country shown. The campaign won many awards.
This is a fun project: What you can only barely see here is in fact a banner running over the length of one kilometer along the track of the Berlin Marathon. I wrote the copy for it - it is the history of the Marathon in Berlin. But there's more – we handed out postcards to spectators waiting for the runners and gave them a task: "Find these four facts and win a yearly subscription." So off they went reading the whole banner. This ambient stunt and the entire campaign won multiple outdoor awards.
